Thanksgiving Weekend

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I spend my holiday with those who are close to me. My day started with the loves of my life Brett and Sammie watching the big Macy's Thanksgiving Parade (I hope someday to attend the parade in person it looks so fun). Followed by sharing the afternoon with my side of the family. Were I was able to share our first Thanksgiving dinner of the day with my grandparents, uncles, cousins, parents and my sister. YUMMY, YUMMY, YUM. Oh and the best part was Brett made DELICIOUS Sweet potatoes. He is becoming quite the pro at those.

After enjoying a great afternoon with them we headed over to Brett's parents were we were able to enjoy our second Thanksgiving dinner of the day with his side of the family. Followed by playing with Brett's nieces of course (man they have so much energy).

Although all of that excitement was too much to handle the weekend kept going.

On Friday my mom, my sister and I adventured out to the big "BLACK FRIDAY" sale. I must say I have seen it a lot worse. But it was fun and I was able to get some really good stuff for Christmas. Friday night we sent it cuddled up in blankets watching Christmas movies. (I love this time of year)

Saturday we got even more into the holiday season. The whole fam (brett, myself, Amber, Brian, mom and dad) went downtown were we saw the lights at Gallivan Center, Salt Lake Temple and Gateway mall. But the funniest part of the night was ice skating at Gallivan center. Brett was so sweet. He held my hand the whole time until I felt like was not going to fall on my face. Then he became a ice skater pro. And get this he even won the Hokie Pokie Contest. It was so much fun. I cant wait to go again sometime.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend and hope you all get a chance to get out there and enjoy the holiday season it only comes once a year!
